Born in Chicago, Illinois, I was nine when my family moved out west to Sacramento, California. Catching the acting bug at the age of fourteen, I began performing onstage and took drama for extra credit every summer. However, after high school I joined the United States Marine Corps and began my journey as a U.S. Marine. Following my graduation from Infantry Training School (I.T.S.) in Camp Pendleton, I was stationed with the Alpha Company Weapons Platoon, 1st Battalion, 9th Marines aka “The Walking Dead” and did two tours of duty on the U.S.S. Frederick and the U.S.S. Bristol County. In August of 1990, I was deployed to Iraq and so began our campaign to free Kuwait from Saddam.
In February 1991, I was honorably discharged from the Corp. and moved back home to Sacramento to be close to family and friends. With the acting bug still buzzing in my ear, I enrolled in the American River College (A.R.C.) to pursue an arts degree. After my time at A.R.C., I moved to San Francisco to work and hone my craft as an actor. In 1998, by God’s hand, I auditioned and was accepted into the Street School Artist Collective and the rest is history! My craft grows with my soul everyday that I’m in the Street School. God Bless.
